Mya is a three year old border collie/lab cross and she is all about having a good time. Give her a ball, and she is happy and content.
Mya grew up with younger kids and a cat, but hasn't seen a lot of the world. She got her exercise in a backyard and lived in the house with her family. She is house trained and can be left loose in the house without fear of her destroying things.
She is timid and shy when you first meet her but can be quickly wooed by treats and toys. She hasn't been on many walks, so she will need work on her leash manners and will need to be introduced to all of life's sights and sounds - traffic, other dogs, people, etc.
Mya is an active dog that will require quite a bit of exercise but also quite a bit of patience. She will probably be scared of things most of us take for granted. Things like riding in the car, walking down the street, seeing new people and meeting new dogs. But from what we've seen so far, we think she'll learn very quickly that the world isn't a scary a place. She has already made big strides in the few days she has been with her foster home.
