Suzie is a 3-5 year old Chihuahua that was found in the County of Lethbridge. When no one came to claim her, she was turned over to us to help her find a new home.
Suzie is a sweet little dog who is very affectionate and loves to snuggle - once she gets to know you. She is usually pretty unsure of new people and can be a little snappy if you approach her too quickly. With a little patience (and food - food is definitely the way to this little girl's heart), she will learn to trust you.
Suzie does great with other dogs, however she does like to be the boss. She doesn't know she only weighs a few pounds!
Suzie is also great with adults and older kids, but is not too sure of younger kids at this point. She is also good with cats and is 90% housetrained. She loves to snuggle on the couch, enjoys going for walks and is even great off leash. She listens well, is very smart and is quick at learning new things. She is also fantastic in her kennel and settles in comfortably.
If you'd like a companion to hang out on your lap while you watch TV, but also keep up with you when you are on the move, Suzie just may be the girl for you.
